Insurance falls due in August and is currently with AAMI. We are currently covered from 13th September 2009 to 13th September 2010
We are insured for The running of seminars and workshops / discussion groups from within halls and conference rooms
Our current plan covers:
- Public Liability - $20 Million
- Property in care custody and control - $10,000
- Products Liability - $20 Million
- Pollution - $20 Million
We are not covered for:
- Fires
- Theft
- Glass
- Breakdown of machinery or computers
- Deterioration of Stock
- Money
- Portable and Valuable Items
- Employee Dishonesty
- Business Interruption
- Goods in Transit
- Tax Probe (R)
LegalPower (R)
- Motor
- Molestation
- Load Bearing and Structural Work
- Work performed by Sub-Contractors
- Damage from errecting of scaffolding, staging rigging etc
- Child Minding
- Anything related to alcohol
Now Pia said we used to have Volunteer insurance. We don't seem to have this now from what I can tell.

I am still determining what the $1400 actually covers in terms of events, but I'm hoping to make an all-inclusive base premium that covers:
- LCA
- SFD
- Linuxworld
- Cebit
- LUG events (installfests, meetings, seminars)
- NSW Education Expo
